There is a frequent issue where the gamepad mode refuses to work. People usually first notice it going into Armoury Crate. Buttons and D-Pad just don’t respond, but usually, the left thumbstick does. The same thing will be true for any game. The left thumbstick works, nothing else does. Desktop mode is completely unaffected.
When this happens, all you have to do is use touch controls to navigate armory crate, then remap any gamepad mode button. Just one button and it can be instantly swapped back. Then you just restart the system, or to be thorough, turn it off completely and back on. That should fix it. Occasionally when using the restart method, people have had to do more than one restart. Occassionally, merely remapping the button instantly fixes it without the need for a restart.
